Lacey Chabert Biography

Lacey Nicole Chabert, born September 30th, 1982 in Purvis, MS, is an actress best known for her roles as Claudia on "Party of Five" and Gretchen Wieners in the movie "Mean Girls". Chabert won the 2005 MTV Movie Award for Best On-Screen Team for Mean Girls, shared with Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, and Amanda Seyfried.  She has also provided voices for several projects.

Lacey was named "World's Baby Petite" in the "World's Our Little Miss Scholorship Competition" for 1985, was in "Les Miserables" on Broadway, a finalist on Star Search, and on "All My Children". All before the age of 12. She began working on "Party of 5" at 11, and was on the show until the end, in 2000. Since 1998, she has provided the voice of Eliza Thornberry on "The Wild Thornberrys", both the series and movies.

In 2007, Chabert starred in the FOX comedy pilot The Hot Years, which revolved around the lives of four female friends who live together. The pilot was not ordered to series by FOX. Chabert was featured as cover girl of the January 2007 issue of Maxim. Recently, she has been in the films "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" and "In My Sleep".
